After a preview launched in the summer, the Tracker series makes this week’s real debut. We find the lines outlined in the preview, namely a super-cop who seems to be transformed gradually into something more bestial. You said werewolf?

I tell you a few weeks ago, mentioning the preview of this series. Tracker has a taste, a television ambiance that evokes some sort of a Fringe of werewolves (although the term is not mentioned in the first degree in this comic-book). I must say that this cop character is stereotyped to be. It is the eternal federal officer who sacrifices everything for her career. You’ve already seen in ‘24, “you find in” Flash Forward “and now the same archetype becomes the main protagonist Tracker … It was not against a small effort to try to distinguish, for example giving it a fad or a knowledge of jazz or anything to try to make a character three dimensional. Here, in this first episode, it is instead completely swallowed by history. We also note a few minor errors of taste which affect the exploits of the individual. When he starts to perform certain physical feats while supposedly injured, the designer gets carried away and we represent scenes where it is already in the super-power. Normally this kind of achievement should attract suspicion, the reactions of his colleagues? No? Not even a little? No, sorry, we’ll obviously keep it for future episodes.

Tracker is the “American Werewolf in London” with the cop “lambda” that provides us with American entertainment. Because Tracker is the first title launched under the partnership Top Cow / HVE purposes and that is probably to play the “machine pitch” to the audio-visual, this is explained in a certain part. And it is true that we are in a number # 1 and having read the preview that was pushed to think that things have not progressed. So it is rather on the number 2 that really thinks the “beast” but it is clear that at this stage seems very conventional Tracker. Hopefully the next episodes we will put some spice in it all …
