Scott has been reading comics ever since he could make out what the words meant in the speech balloons. Growing up, Batman and Robin weren’t just characters, they were pals. His addiction to writing combined with his passion for comics is what fuels his creativity.
During his time in Los Angeles, Scott built up a portfolio of spec scripts while doing screenplay coverage for Oscar-winning producer Mark Ordesky (Executive Producer, Lord of the Rings trilogy). He published his first comic with Arcana Studios in 2010, the futuristic Cryozone. Shortly after, he moved to New York City to train at Marvel Comics as an editorial intern working on such series as Ultimate Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, Avengers Academy, Black Panther, and many more. Following this, he worked in publicity for comics while continuing to write freelance on the side including penning issues of Archie. His current project is a sci-fi series based on the upcoming futuristic thriller Narcopolis from Altitude Films, which will expand the movie’s universe into comics.
An Air Force brat, Scott has lived in three countries and nine states but currently resides in Los Angeles.
His current project is a sci-fi series published by Heavy Metal and based on the upcoming futuristic thriller Narcopolis from IFC Midnight, which expand the movie’s universe into comics.
