Jennifer grew up in Surf City, USA, which might have been nice if her parents weren’t afraid of her swimming in polluted water or finding hypodermic needles in the sand. But her vampiric complexion was better suited to black skinny jeans and fishnet gloves than sunbathing. Unsatisfied with palm trees and conservative politics, Jennifer channeled her perpetual angst into creating worlds of her own.  She graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts with a B.A. in Cinema and Media Studies in 2017 and an M.F.A. from the John Wells Division of Writing for Screen & Television in 2019. While at USC, Jennifer co-wrote two feature films, THE ADVENTURES OF THOMASINA SAWYER and SAMIR, which premiered at the university in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Her third USC collaboration, VOODOO MACBETH, premieres in 2020. To this day, Jennifer writes about sheltered misfits finding the courage to rebel.
